Who can get a childcare provider account?

This type of account is available for childcare providers working at a licensed childcare facility.

What can I check out with a childcare provider account?

Only children’s books (picture books, Easy Readers, juvenile fiction, juvenile nonfiction) and teaching resource books may be checked out on this type of account. Children’s books are available in English and in Spanish.

How long can I keep the books?

Items are checked out for 45 days, with no renewals.

Are there any fines or fees?

No late fees are charged. Replacement fees will be charged for items that are not returned or are damaged beyond repair. The childcare provider, whose name appears on the account, will be responsible for replacement fees for lost or damaged items.
